Trampled by Turtles, Old Crow Medicine Show & Lindsay Lou Set To Reopen Vail Arena

Trampled by Turtles and Old Crow Medicine Show will headline the grand reopening concert at Dobson Arena in Vail, Colorado. Lindsay Lou will kick off the festivities on Saturday, November 28.

The concert will mark a milestone in an approximately $55.4 million renovation of the town-owned arena. Construction began in April 2025 on the project, which was designed to modernize the ice facility while improving its ability to host concerts and other events.

Dobson Arena was built in 1979 and had never undergone a major renovation of the entire facility. The overhaul preserves the building’s distinctive roof structure while adding new entrances, bathrooms and locker rooms along with upgraded infrastructure. The renovated arena will accommodate approximately 3,500 attendees for concerts and features expanded rigging capabilities developed with input from AEG.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. MT.
