Great South Bay Music Festival Lands Dark Star Orchestra, YES, Disco Biscuits & More For 2024 Lineup

The Great South Bay Music Festival (GSBMF) focuses each day of the event’s just released 2024 lineup on a different musical style with Dark Star Orchestra, Yes, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Bonamassa and Pepper set to headline. Long Island’s largest music festival returns to Shorefront Park in Patchogue, New York July 18 – 21.

Blues is highlighted on Thursday, July 18 at GSBMF 2024 with Bonamassa headlining after sets from Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, the Kerry Kearney Band and more. Legendary artist Jim Messina (Loggins & Messina, Poco, Buffalo Springfield) is also on the bill for the first day of this summer’s festival.

Great South Bay Music Festival goes heavy on reggae on Friday, July 19. Pepper are joined on the daily lineup by Streetlight Manifesto, Badfish (A Tribute To Sublime), Tropidelic, Oogee Wawa and Nonstop To Cairo with additional artists to be announced.

Saturday, July 20 is “jam-day” at Shorefront Park featuring performances by Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra and pioneering jamtronica quartet the Disco Biscuits. Dogs In A Pile, Dopapod and Karina Rykman round out the initial Saturday lineup.

Classic Rock will be showcased at GSBMF on Sunday, July 21 when Yes featuring Jon Anderson presents “Epics & Classics” to close out the festival. The final day of the 2024 event will also include sets from Justin Hayward (Moody Blues), Martin Barre (Jethro Tull), Start Making Sense (Talking Heads tribute) and more.
