The 64th Annual Grammy Awards Show will now be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3. The Recording Academy previously postponed the 2022 Grammys due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.

CBS will air the ceremony live from Las Vegas starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on April 3. The event can also be streamed live and on-demand via Paramount+. Trevor Noah will host the broadcast. Nominees for this year’s awards include Brandi Carlile, Jon Batiste and Billy Strings. Additional details, including performers, will be announced soon.

The 2022 Grammys were originally scheduled to take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on January 31. “We are excited to take the GRAMMYs to Las Vegas for the very first time, and to put on a world-class show,” wrote Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. as part of a statement announcing the move. “From the moment we announced the postponement of the original show date, we have been inundated with heartfelt messages of support and solidarity from the artist community. We are humbled by their generosity and grateful for their unwavering commitment to the GRAMMY Awards and the Academy’s mission.”
