Grahame Lesh added a fourth and final night to his upcoming run of “Unbroken Chain: A Celebration Of The Life And Music Of Phil Lesh” tributes at The Capitol Theatre. The son of Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh will be joined by his father’s Phil Lesh Quintet bandmates at the Port Chester, New York venue on Monday, March 17.

Guitarists Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring, keyboardist Rob Barraco and drummer John Molo served as Phil Lesh’s touring band from the fall of 2000 through 2002. “The Q” reunited several times in the years that followed with their last show before Phil’s death played at The Cap last March.

“On Monday, March 17, I am so thrilled to bring together some of my favorite people and musicians ever – the members of the PLQ – to join me at the final night of Unbroken Chain: a Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh,” wrote Grahame Lesh on Instagram. “Warren, Jimmy, Rob, & Molo, together with my dad in the Phil Lesh Quintet edition of Phil & Friends, are probably my favorite band ever, and I am honored to bring them together to celebrate my dad.”

The four-night stand of “Unbroken Chain: A Celebration Of The Life And Music Of Phil Lesh” commemorates what would have been the bassist’s 85th birthday. Grahame Lesh will team with guitarists Eric Krasno and Rick Mitarotonda (Goose), bassist Oteil Burbridge, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby, drummer John Molo and trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick on March 14 and 15.

The band for the 16th will feature Grahame joined by guitarist Jackie Greene, multi-instrumentalist Larry Campbell, vocalist Teresa Williams, drummer John Molo and keyboardist Steve Molitz.

Proceeds from ticket sales for all four shows will go towards MusiCares and Undue Medical Debt, a pair of charitable organizations that hold deep personal significance for the Lesh family.

Tickets for the March 17th “Unbroken Chain” concert go on sale this Friday, February 14 at 10 a.m. ET.
