Graham Nash Says Crosby, Stills & Nash Have Broken Up

Over the weekend, Dutch magazine Lust For Life published harsh comments from Graham Nash in which the famed performer discusses the deterioration of his relationship with David Crosby. Nash went so far as to say “You asked me if there’s more of CSN? My answer is ‘no,’ and that’s very sad, because we’re pretty good. But I don’t like David Crosby right now. He’s been awful to me these last two years, just f—ing awful” as per a Team Rock’s Classic Rock.

Nash confirmed and re-iterated his comments to Billboard and brought CSNY into the equation, “Right now, I don’t want anything to do with Crosby at all. It’s just that simple. In my world there will never, ever be a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young record and there will never be another Crosby, Stills & Nash record or show.” When pushed by Billboard for explanation of his issues with Crosby, Graham didn’t take the bait but responded “I was letting Crosby be who he is. I let people play their hand in front of me, and I let him do it and then I make a decision.”

CSN was formed in 1968 and released one album before Neil Young joined the ranks. CSNY released an album in 1970 and toured during the summer of 1970 before parting ways. The foursome reunited for a famed 1974 tour which was followed by more touring without Young in the late ’70s. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young last performed at the Bridge School Benefit on October 27, 2013. Crosby, Stills & Nash last toured in 2014.

Graham Nash will release a new solo album, This Path Tonight next month.
