Goose honored the late Bill Withers by sharing pro-shot video featuring their performance of “Lovely Day” from March 11 at the Madison Theater in Covington, Kentucky. Bill Withers died last week due to heart complications.

Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda handles lead vocals on the band’s version of “Lovely Day,” which they debuted at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on January 24. The quartet jammed out “Lovely Day” in Covington as they have done on other covers of the song. Bill Withers originally released “Lovely Day” on his 1978 studio album, Menagerie.
