Brandi Carlile Details Burn The Setlist All-Request Tour

Brandi Carlile is turning her favorite part of The Human Tour into an entire run of shows. She and longtime collaborators Phil and Tim Hanseroth will build the setlist from audience requests each night of Burn The Setlist (The All Request Tour), a 15-show theater tour running from November 5 through December 17.

Fans can call out songs or hold up signs, and Carlile says the trio expects to try covers and take chances with material they may not have rehearsed. “We’re basically going to jam with you for a couple of hours every night,” Carlile explained in a video announcement.

The tour opens at Revolution Hall in Portland, Oregon and includes two-night stands at Tucson’s Rialto Theatre, Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater, Minneapolis’ State Theatre and the Louisville Palace. Three December shows at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York conclude the run. Carlile said the trio chose older theaters that were meaningful to them early in their career.

The concerts will be phone-free, with attendees keeping their phones in Yondr pouches that can be unlocked outside the theater. After each show, fans will receive a QR code for free live tracks and photos.
