The Music Vault on YouTube is the gift that keeps on giving as the Music Vault channels on the service continue to be populated with mind-blowing musical performances. Earlier this year an other-worldly Talking Heads show from the Remain In Light Tour professionally-shot at The Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey on November 4, 1980 was posted and we’re reposting it today as the most popular Full Show Friday selection of 2014.

For the Remain In Light Tour David Byrne & Co. were augmented by legendary musicians Adrian Belew on guitar and Bernie Worrell on keyboards as well as bassist Busta Cherry Jones, vocalist Dollette McDonald and percussionist Steve Scales. Over the course of eighty magical minutes, the Talking Heads roll through such classics as “Psycho Killer,” “Crosseyed & Painless,” “Life During Wartime,” “Cities” and “Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On).” We can’t recommend the video below highly enough. What a way to end the week!
