Last year’s edition of the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival was held in the scenic Colorado mountain town September 15 – 17. As mentioned, JamBase is pleased to partner with Telluride Blues & Brews to premiere a handful of official videos from the 2017 event. Today’s video features New Orleans-based artist Anders Osborne.

Anders Osborne is the rare musician who can rock out with the best of the scene’s guitarists, but can also wow a crowd with acoustic performances of his brilliant songs. The video below features a dose of fretboard fireworks as well as dynamic singing all as part of a gorgeous original. Osborne performed “Sentimental Times” with his band of guitarist Eric McFadden, bassist Carl Dufrene and drummer Eric Bolivar. Anders & Co. laid down the track at Telluride Blues & Brews on September 17, 2017.

The singing/songwriting guitarist tells JamBase the following about the version of “Sentimental Times” featured in the video below: “This song was written for the Peace record recorded at Dockside Studios back in 2013. The co-producer and engineer Warren Riker was a big part of that record. The song was first intended to be written about missing my dear departed mother, but I switched gear a little bit and made it about feeling sentimental. [Festival Director] Steve Gumble and his crew at Blues & Brews have always treated me and my bands like family. Love em!”

Now, watch the premiere of Anders Osborne’s “Sentimental Times” video, which was recorded at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival this past September:
