Eagles Of Death Metal Return To Paris

By Scott Bernstein Dec 7, 2015 2:20 pm PST

While a Billboard report that Eagles of Death Metal would guest with U2 in Paris on Sunday turned out to be false, the magazine was close. Members of EODM did return to Paris tonight to help U2 end their tour less than a month after their concert at Le Bataclan was stormed by terrorists who murdered 89 people.

Bono introduced Eagles Of Death Metal by saying, “We’d like to introduce you to some people whose lives will forever be a part of this city.” The singer added, “They were robbed of their stage, so we would like to offer them ours.” U2 and Eagles Of Death Metal then teamed up for a cover of “People Have The Power.” After that, the Irish rockers turned the stage completely over to EODM who ended the show with their own “I Love You All The Time.”

HBO will air a broadcast of tonight’s concert starting at 9 p.m. ET.
