Dogs In A Pile Play 1970s-Themed Halloween Show In Georgia

Dogs In A Pile time-warped to the 1970s for their 2025 Halloween concert at From the Earth Brewing Company in Roswell, Georgia. The band debuted a bevy of songs from legendary ’70s rock bands including Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd and more.

DIAP highlighted the theme by beginning the show with a premiere of “1970s” by Talc. The first frame also saw cover debuts of songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd (“I Know A Little”), Black Sabbath (“Black Sabbath”), Little River Band (“Reminiscing”) and Jerry Reed (“I Don’t Know About You”).

Dogs kicked off set two with a first time play of The Beatles‘ “Got To Get You Into My Life.” Debuts in the second set included Steely Dan’s “Black Cow,” Led Zeppelin’s “Moby Dick” and the Pink Floyd synth-laced instrumental “Any Colour You Like.”

The band then touched on ’70s funk with Rufus and Chaka Khan’s “Tell Me Something Good” along with Parliament‘s “Up for the Down Stroke.” DIAP returned to rock with a premiere of Peter Frampton‘s “Do You Feel Like We Do” to conclude the second set. Dogs In A Pile played the original “Chop Shop” to seal the show.
