The Disco Biscuits Welcome Brendan Bayliss For Prince Cover At Dominican Holidaze

The 2017 installment of Dominican Holidaze continued on Sunday at Breathless & Now Onyx in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Jamtronica pioneers The Disco Biscuits played a pair of sets on the Main Stage and welcomed Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee for a Prince cover as part of their first performance of the night.
Bisco opened with “The Very Moon,” which they linked to “Voices Insane” and “Sweating Bullets.” Within “Sweating Bullets,” Bayliss emerged to add vocals to a cover of Prince’s “Controversy.” The Disco Biscuits had debuted “Controversy” at this year’s Camp Bisco, while UM has performed the tune five times between April 28, 2016 and May 27, 2017.
The Disco Biscuits resumed “Sweating Bullets” after Brendan vacated the stage. “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night” served as the first set closer. Later in the night, tDB kicked off their second set of Sunday with the beginning of “Morph Dusseldorf,” which acted as the dyslexic completion of the version started the previous evening. The seamless frame continued with a wild “Basis For A Day” sequence that included “Catalyst,” a cover of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” and “Orch Theme.”
