The Disco Biscuits Debut New Original At Candler Park Music Festival
Hear tDB unveil new song "Freeze" and more.
The Disco Biscuits delivered a headlining set at the Candler Park Music Festival in Atlanta on Saturday. The jamtronica quartet unveiled a new song, “Freeze,” for the festival play.
Bisco launched their Candler Park Music Festival set with the classic “Little Shimmy In A Conga Line” which they stretched to nearly 18 minutes before heading into the relatively new tune, “Running Into The Night,” a song the band debuted during their 2019 New Year's Eve run. From there, tDB served up a 20-minute rendition of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love.”
Another 2019 debut, “Anthem,” emerged from “I Feel Love” and boasted an “I Can See Clearly Now” jam. The quartet capped off the four-song seamless opening segment with a return to “Little Shimmy In A Conga Line.”
Bisco then premiered the new song “Freeze,” a disco-funk-tinged song driven by a bass riff from Marc Brownstein. The Disco Biscuits kept to newer material with “M1,” which debuted last year, as the penultimate song of their set before closing things out with the ending of the vintage “Above The Waves.”
