The Disco Biscuits‘ Between The Trees Rocky Mountain trek came to Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, Montana over Labor Day Weekend. For the three-night finale on Sunday, Bisco busted out “Fish Out of Water” for the first time in 15 years.

The Disco Biscuits — bassist Marc Brownstein, guitarist Jon 'The Barber' Gutwillig, keyboardist Aron Magner and drummer Allen Aucoin — launched the concert with “Aceetobee” in which they fit an inverted “Catalyst.”

The first iteration of “Aceetobee” saw samples of the new tDB song “Scars Of The Brave,” which was debuted at the Barber/Magner (mostly acoustic) show on March 7 and then by the full band on March 14. Bisco had performed portions of “Scars Of The Brave” on both Friday and Saturday at Pine Creek.

“Dino Baby” then gave way to the ending of “Confrontation.” The Disco Biscuits concluded the first set by sandwiching “The Champions” within “Shelby Rose.”

Set two got underway with “I Remember When” followed by a 21-minute rendition of “Caterpillar” and a 24-minute version of “The Wormhole,” the latter off the band’s 2024 studio album Revolution In Motion. A quick “Cyclone” then led into the inverted premiere of “Postcard.” Revolution In Motion cut “To Be Continued” sealed the second set.

The “Fish Out of Water” breakout began the encore. The Barber song originally appeared on tDB’s 2010 studio album Planet Anthem. Bisco unveiled “Fish Out of Water” live on November 19, 2009 in Los Angeles, as per discobiscuits.net. The cut disappeared from the rotation after June 4, 2010. “Little Lai” brought The Disco Biscuits’ Pine Creek Lodge run to a close.
