The Disco Biscuits completed a six-show residency at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania on Sunday night. Longtime Bisco friend and collaborator, guitarist Tom Hamilton, joined the band for a substantial sit-in during the second set.

Before the start of Sunday’s concert, the Disco Biscuits were presented with a banner on the wall of the Ardmore commemorating the sold-out Bisco Sixer run. The first set began with keyboardist Aron Magner, bassist Marc Brownstein, guitarist Jon Gutwillig and drummer Allen Aucoin picking up the “Little Shimmy In A Conga Line” initiated the night before.

The foursome progressed into “Bombs,” followed by the first “Tamarin Alley” played in more than a year. The rarity “Stars In The Sky” then made its first appearance of 2025 and segued into an inverted version of the recently introduced original, “Scars Of The Brave.”

The ending of “We Like To Party” brought the first set to an end, and the beginning section of the song opened the second set. The subsequent “Caves of the East” infused the “everybody knows your name” chorus from the Cheers television series theme song while Magner spoke to the audience.

“This venue here is in the neighborhood that I live in,” Magner said. “And every time I come here, I literally know everybody that works here, from the bartenders to the ticketing people out front to the security guys to everybody that books us here to the people that clean up afterwards, and it literally feels like everybody knows each other’s name. And it feels wonderful to have all of you guys here in my neighborhood to celebrate the sixer with us.”

The band kept leaning into the “Cheers Theme” for a few more cycles before shifting the jam and Magner signalling for Tom Hamilton to take the stage. The guitarist, fresh off a three-show run in Colorado with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, positioned himself between Magner and Brownstein (Hamilton, Magner, Brownstein and Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield perform together as Electron).

The guest musician dove in with his familiar cohorts, and participated in seamless segues into an inverted “Shelby Rose” and “Freeze.” Following Hamilton’s exit, Bisco completed the “Spraypaint” from the fourth night of the Ardmore run. The second set was then punctuated by the ending of “Morph Dusseldorf.”

The final encore of the six-night residency began with “Kitchen Mitts.” Fittingly, the performance ended with a completion of “Helicopters,” the song that started the first set of the Ardmore run last Tuesday.
