Oh Brothers: Taylor & Griffin Goldsmith Announce Dawes Duo Tour

Taylor Goldsmith and Griffin Goldsmith confirmed plans for an intimate Dawes duo tour this fall. The brothers will present their band’s material in a stripped-down format featuring just drums and guitar.

“This tour will be just Griffin and I. Drums and guitar. Finding new ways to present material from our entire catalogue, distilled down to only the most essential ingredients. We’ve done this a lot recently and found that the material and the focus of the shows take on a whole new dimension. These will be some fun nights,” Taylor Goldsmith explained on social media.

The Dawes (Duo) Tour kicks off on September 25 in Santa Barbara at the Lobero Theatre. The siblings continues in California with performances at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park on September 26 and the Ruth Finley Person Theater in Santa Rosa on September 27.

October brings the brothers to Colorado for four consecutive shows. They’ll perform at Club Red at Telluride Conference Center in Telluride on October 2, followed by Belly Up Aspen in Aspen on October 3. The tour continues at Strings Music Pavilion in Steamboat Springs on October 4 and concludes at Washington’s in Fort Collins on October 5.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Presales are currently underway using DAWESDUO as the password.
