Dave Matthews Band welcomed special guests Celisse and Eric Krasno for guest spots at The Gorge Amphitheatre on Saturday. The show was the band’s second of three annual Labor Day Weekend concerts at the famed Washington state venue.

Both Celisse’s band and Eric Krasno’s group, The Assembly, played sets at The Gorge before DMB took the stage. Dave Matthews & Co. started their 20-song performance with oldie “One Sweet World.” The septet then looked to 2002’s Busted Stuff for “You Never Know” before pairing “Fool To Think” off 2001’s Everyday with “Can’t Stop” from their most recent LP, 2017’s Come Tomorrow.

After loading Friday's setlist with a number of rarities, DMB kept the trend going by dusting off “Joyride.” The 18-year-old song had been shelved since July 27, 2019. Next came staples “Stay Or Leave” and “#41.” Another surprise followed as “If Only” off 2012’s Away From The World was trotted out for its 2022 debut. The familiar sequence of “So Much To Say”/”Anyone Seen The Bridge” and “Too Much” then gave way to “The Dreaming Tree” and a take on Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.”

Just the fifth “Squirm” of the tour came after “Sledgehammer.” Matthews then brought out Eric Krasno on guitar for “Break Free,” a song busted out on opening night of the tour after a nearly four-year absence. Krasno has a long history of performing with DMB that dates back to 2001. The guitarist’s most recent sit-in before last night took place at Alpine Valley on July 3, 2022.

“So Damn Lucky” followed Krasno’s appearance. The seven-piece then played the title track from 2001’s Everyday. Next, Celisse took the stage for her first collaboration with Dave Matthews Band. The dynamic musician both lit it up on guitar and shared vocal duties with Dave Matthews on a rousing cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower.” DMB went sans guests next to conclude the set with “Two Step.” Matthews returned to the stage with Tim Reynolds in tow to get the encore underway with “Oh” before the rest of the band joined for the “Stay (Wasting Time)” finale.
