Dave Matthews Band announced the next installment of their Live Trax series. Live Trax Vol. 61 showcases the group’s August 25, 2005 show at Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California.

DMB was three months into a summer tour in support of their Stand Up studio album when they pulled into Chula Vista. Stand Up was released on May 10, 2005 and was the last put out by the group before saxophonist LeRoi Moore’s tragic death in 2008. The band — consisting at the time of founding members Moore, frontman Dave Matthews, fiddler Boyd Tinsley, drummer Carter Beauford and bassist Stefan Lessard — went heavy on Stand Up material at the San Diego venue shed. Eight of the LP’s 14 tracks made the setlist with the title track, “American Baby Intro,” “American Baby,” “Dreamgirl,” “Hunger For The Great Light” and “Louisiana Bayou” among them.

The tour stop in Chula Vista also featured a smattering of classic material starting with the run of “Pantala Naga Pampa”/”Rapunzel” and “One Sweet World” that opened. “Say Goodbye,” “Warehouse,” “What Would You Say” and “Tripping Billies” also came within the main set. “Warehouse” gave way to an instrumental “Norweigan Wood (This Bird Has Flown)” interlude. Dave Matthews Band ended the night by pairing “You Might Die Trying” and “What You Are” for the encore.

Live Trax Vol 61 is available for pre-order via DMB’s online store ahead of its release on September 30.
