Courtney Marie Andrews shared a video for her single “It Must Be Someone Else’s Fault.” The track appears on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming new album, Old Flowers.
Andrews will release Old Flowers on July 24 via Fat Possum Records. The album that serves as the follow-up to 2018’s May Your Kindness Remain was produced by Andrew Sarlo and features contributions by percussionist James Krivchenia of Big Thief and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Davidson of Twain. Andrews previously shared the singles “If I Told” and “Burlap String.”

The “It Must Be Someone Else’s Fault” video was directed by V Haddad. The cinematography was provided by Adam Gundersheimer of Slopehouse Productions and choreography provided by Marlee Cook-Parrot (Marlee Grace).
“‘It Must Be Someone Else’s Fault’ inspired us to create a video exploring being and becoming a woman and the world that surrounds her in this journey,” said Haddad. “Through dream-logic, we set out to interweave our characters through choreographed echoes and mirror moments of dance to draw out an ode to matriarchy, empathy, and sisterhood.”
