Circles Around Phil Lesh’s Sun: New Terrapin Crossroads Outdoor Concert Announced

One week ago tonight Circles Around The Sun made their live debut at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia and we’re hoping after the sensational set it won’t be the quartet’s last show. On September 10 three of the four Circles Around The Sun members will be part of a special Phil Lesh & Friends ensemble playing Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California.

The backyard show will find Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh joined by Circles Around The Sun’s Neal Casal, Mark Levy and Adam MacDougall as well as singer/songwriter Cass McCombs, multi-instrumentalist Farmer Dave Scher and guitarist Ross James. TXR’s backyard will be open to the public until 4 p.m.. Show admission begins at 5 p.m. from the official park entrances on Yacht Club Drive. The dance party begins at 6 p.m., and a special campfire set will close the show. As a special treat, kids 12 & under will be admitted free.
