Brandi Carlile and SiriusXM announced a new show, Brandi Carlile’s Somewhere Over the Radio, set to premiere on Wednesday, August 10 at 2 p.m. ET on channel 28 The Spectrum. The monthly program curated by the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will focus on LGBTQIA+ artists and their allies.

For tomorrow’s premiere episode, Brandi will welcome her wife Catherine Carlile. The Carliles will share music from Tracy Chapman, Elton John, Antony And The Johnsons, Arlo Parks, Indigo Girls, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Dolly Parton and more. The program will also see Brandi offering personal anecdotes and candid conversations with guests.

“This show is about the impact that LGBTQIA + artists have made on the world, the spiritual realm, and certainly our family through the transcendence of music,” Carlile nored. “Queer artists and pioneers have given my wife and I everything that we have including each other. Let’s shine a little light on queer excellence today.”

Brandi Carlile’s Somewhere Over the Radio will air on the first Wednesday of each month on The Spectrum at 2 p.m. ET. Head here for more info.
