Bob Weir And RatDog Return With Rehearsal Show

Next week Bob Weir and RatDog head off on a lengthy winter tour that marks their first extended excursion since the Summer of 2009. Before they head off on tour, RatDog visited Weir’s Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA for an open rehearsal of sorts.

For the 2014 installment of RatDog, Weir is joined by Steve Kimock, Robin Sylvester, Jeff Chimenti, Rob Wasserman and Jay Lane. Over the course of two sets RatDog treated fans to songs from the band’s extensive repertoire of Grateful Dead classics, RatDog originals and even a Miles Davis cover. During the second set Bobby and his band debuted their version of “My Brother Esau.” The night came to a close with a “Touch Of Grey” encore. RatDog Winter Tour kicks off a week from Friday in Philadelphia.
