Blind Melon returns to the road this June for their first tour since 2019. The band mapped out shows across the Western United States, visiting Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.

Original Blind Melon frontman Shannon Hoon tragically died of a drug overdose in 1995. Hoon’s bandmates — lead guitarist Rogers Stevens, rhythm guitarist Christopher Thorn, drummer Glen Graham and bassist Brad Smith — spent the next four years looking for a new vocalist and officially split in 1999 when the search proved unsuccessful. Blind Melon reformed in 2006 with new vocalist Travis Warren.

The second chapter of Blind Melon seemingly ended in 2008 when Warren left the band. Warren changed recanted and rejoined Blind Melon in 2010. Nathan Towne took over bass duties in 2017 following Smith’s departure. Warren, Towne, Stevens, Thorn and Graham last played a series of concerts in 2019 and have been off the road ever since.

Blind Melon, whose current lineup remains unconfirmed, previously announced Colorado Road Trip shows with O.A.R. at Vail’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on June 20 and Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver on June 21.

Newly confirmed Blind Melon tour dates lead up to the previously scheduled Colorado shows. The band heads to Washington state to kick off the tour on June 8 in Airway Heights at Spokane Live. Blind Melon then heads to Seattle on June 10 for a performance at El Corazon.

The journey continues to Montana for shows at The Wilma Theatre in Missoula on June 13, followed by a stop at Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston on June 14.

On June 17, the band will play The Lincoln in Cheyenne, Wyoming, before heading to Colorado for the final leg of the tour. They’ll perform at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on June 19, followed by the two Colorado Trip shows with O.A.R.

Tickets to Blind Melon’s newly announced tour dates go on sale on Friday, April 4. Find links and additional information below.
