Bleachers Bring Out The Chicks At The Troubadour Finale

Bleachers closed a five-night, sold-out stand at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, California on Tuesday night. The Chicks joined the Jack Antonoff-led band on the final night, backing Antonoff on a performance of “I Wanna Get Better.”

“I Wanna Get Better” was released as the lead single off Bleachers’ 2014 debut album, Strange Desire. Carly Rae Jepsen joined Antonoff for an acoustic rendition of “I Wanna Get Better” on opening night of The Troubadour run.

Bleachers are touring in support of their fifth album, everyone for ten minutes, released in May. Tuesday’s Troubadour finale also saw Antonoff’s father Ricky Antonoff join Bleachers on “How Dare You Want More.”

Jack Antonoff produced The Chicks 2020 comeback album, Gaslighter. The record was the first recorded by Emily Strayer, Martie Maguire and Natalie Maines in 14 years.
