Watch John Fogerty & Slash Join The Black Crowes At FireAid

Many noteworthy collaborations took place at last night’s FireAid benefit concerts for Los Angeles wildfire relief, including during The Black Crowes time onstage at the Kia Forum. Legendary guitarist John Fogerty fronted the band for a song and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash joined Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson on a fitting Led Zeppelin cover.

The Black Crowes kicked off their set with “Remedy” from their 1992 sophomore album, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. Fogerty then came on board and Chris Robinson exited ahead of a performance of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s hit “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” with Fogerty’s son Shane Fogerty also joining in on guitar.

Chris Robinson returned ahead of a meeting of mid-1980s rock bands as GNR guitarist Slash emerged to perform with The Black Crowes. Slash played acoustic guitar alongside Rich Robinson for a location-appropriate rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Going To California.”
