The Black Crowes Bring Back ‘Bring On, Bring On’ In Netherlands

The European leg of the The Black Crowes' Southern Hospitality Tour rolled into Tilburg, Netherlands on Tuesday to begin a two-night stand. The rockers reached into their bag and pulled out a cut off their 1996 album Three Snakes and One Charm for the first time in 13 years at Poppodium 013.

The Black Crowes have been on a tear of trying out tunes that have long been on the shelf. The band continued that streak in Tilburg on Tuesday when they dusted off “Bring On, Bring On.” Chris and Rich Robinson looked to the Three Snakes and One Charm slow-burner about halfway through their main set. Leading off with “Profane Prophecy” off their new album, A Pound Of Feathers, The Black Crowes spread out songs from across their catalog including standouts such as “Go Faster,” “Jealous Again,” “Wiser Time,” “Twice As Hard,” and “Remedy.”

The Black Crowes also delivered their early hit cover of Otis Redding‘s “Hard To Handle” ahead of Rich Robinson stepping to the mic for a rendition of The Rolling Stones “You Got The Silver.” The concert came to a close with the band’s recently revived take on Traffic‘s “Feelin’ Alright?”
