This June, the original lineup of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones will reunite for a two-week tour. The quartet had previously announced appearances at the Blue Ox Music Festival and at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival as well as a tour opener at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, Virginia on June 1. New to the tour is a pair of performances at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on June 12.
Bela Fleck And The Flecktones will play shows at Thalia Hall at both 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 12. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketweb. The lineup for the tour, which is expected to span June 1 – 16, features the famed banjoist joined by multi-instrumentalist Howard Levy, bassist Victor Wooten and percussionist/Drumitarist Roy “Futureman” Wooten. The Flecktones last performed in 2012. Stay tuned for additional tour date announcements.
