AXS TV Announces Impressive Jazz Fest Artist Lineup

Today marks the start of this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival at The Fairgrounds in the Crescent City. Cable network AXS TV will present live and tape-delayed coverage of Jazz Fest between May 1 and 3. AXS TV has announced many of the artists that will be featured during its 21 hours of Jazz Fest coverage and color us impressed.

Portions of sets from Elton John, The Who, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Steve Winwood, Allen Toussaint and Alison Krauss & Union Station will be broadcast by AXS TV. We’re also excited to see portions of Galactic’s first performance with Macy Gray will be featured on the cable network. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, No Doubt, Keith Urban, John Legend, Pitbull, Ed Sheeran, Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, Chicago, Jerry Lee Lewis, The O’Jay’s and Sturgill Simpson are the other artists confirmed to appear on AXS TV’s Jazz Fest broadcasts.

AXS TV will air its Jazz Fest coverage May 1 -3 starting at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT each day. Stay tuned for the broadcast schedule.
