Axl Rose To Talk Guns N’ Roses With Jimmy Kimmel

One of the biggest stories of 2016 in the music world is expected to be the reunion of a Guns N’ Roses lineup featuring Axl Rose and Slash for the first time since 1993. Billboard and the New York Times are among the publications reporting the hard rock gods will play Coachella and beyond. Rose will address those reports, and perhaps confirm the reunion, during a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night.

The rest of the GN’R lineup is not confirmed at this point, though CoS reports Duff McKagan will handle bass duties and Matt Sorum “is believed to be behind the kit.” Tuesday won’t be Axl’s first visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live as he sat for his first live interview in 20 years back in 2012 on the ABC late night talk show. The timing of Rose’s Tuesday night appearance lines up with past Coachella lineup announcements which generally come the first week in January.
