The Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, Texas hosted a co-bill of Old Crow Medicine Show and The Avett Brothers last night. For the encore, The Avetts welcomed the members of Old Crow Medicine Show to share the stage for portions of a grand finale.

The encore started with both bands collaborating on a rollicking version of the traditional song “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad.” Then, OCMS and The Avetts treated fans to a cover of “John Brown’s Dream.” While the rest of his band mates vacated the stage, Old Crow’s Ketch Secor stuck around for a take on John Denver’s “Thank God I’m A Country Boy” before The Avett Brothers brought the concert to a close by their lonesomes with “I and Love and You.”
