Days after iconic rock musician David Bowie died at age 69, Arcade Fire and Preservation Hall Jazz Band organized a traditional New Orleans second line parade in his honor. Arcade Fire has posted official video footage capturing scenes from the celebratory event.

The “Pretty Things” second line began Saturday, January 16 at the storied NOLA venue Preservation Hall, journeying through the streets of the French Quarter and ending at One Eyed Jack’s. Among the Bowie songs performed during the second line were “Rebel Rebel,” “Fame,” “Suffragette City,” “Oh! You Pretty Things” and “Heroes” – the last of which can be heard on the new video.
