Today, Aoife O’Donovan released “Age Of Apathy,” the title track from her forthcoming studio album. Age Of Apathy arrives through Yep Roc Records on January 21.
The singer-songwriter’s first new studio album in six years was produced by Joe Henry. O’Donovan recorded the 11-track LP at Winter Park, Florida’s Full Sail University during the early days of the pandemic. Henry helmed the album remotely as Darren Schneider was on-site to engineer and mix.
Age Of Apathy features bassist David Piltch and drummer Jay Bellerose. Contributors include Madison Cunningham and Allison Russell. O’Donovan previously shared album tracks “Phoenix” and “Prodigal Daughter.”
