As we reported Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra are in the middle of a three-show run in which they are flipping the script by recreating Jerry Garcia Band shows. While on Friday at Jay Peak Resort Amphitheatre in Jay, Vermont DSO used a JGB setlist from 1991, the band went with a 1976 setlist for their second of two shows at the Vermont ski resort.

With Rob Eaton, who plays the Bob Weir role in DSO, out of action this weekend it was the perfect time for the group to turn their attention to JGB setlists. Night two in Vermont saw Dark Star Orchestra recreate the Jerry Garcia Band show from August 22, 1976 at Keystone in Berkeley. DSO followed up the full performance of 8/22/76 with a filler of “How Sweet It Is” and “Catfish John.” Tonight Dark Star plays the third of three special JGB shows at Saranac Brewery in Utica, New York.

Setlist Set One: Second That Emotion, They Love Each Other, I’ll Take A Melody, That’s What Love Will Make You Do, Mission In The Rain

Set Two: The Way You Do The Things You Do, Midnight Moonlight, A Strange Man, Tore Up Over You, Stop That Train, Ride Mighty High

Fillre: How Sweet It Is, Catfish John
