The San Francisco Giants took on the Milwaukee Brewers last night at AT&T Park in San Francisco in front of legions of Deadheads. The evening was billed as Grateful Dead Tribute Night and featured a number of tributes to the hometown heroes. For this year’s fourth annual Tribute Night, Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir, basketball legend/Deadhead Bill Walton and Jerry Garcia’s daughter Trixie were a few of the GD Family members to take part in the event.

Moonalice kicked off the night with a performance for VIPs before Weir, Giants coach Tim Flannery and his brother Tom sang The National Anthem. Then, Weir teamed with Walton and Garcia to throw out the first pitch. Fans who took part in the promotion received a special “Uncle Sam” bobblehead.
