Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band Tour & Album News

Asheville’s Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band are about to embark on an extensive fall tour that kicks off tomorrow night at Nectars in Burlington, VT and includes shows in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Washington, D.C. before it’s currently scheduled to come to a close with a pair of performances in Raleigh on November 21 and 22.

In other Booty Band news, the group has announced plans to release a new studio album featuring songs inspired by the classic funk era. Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band will unveil Funk Life, their fourth full-length album, next spring. Funk Life “will deliver all of the classic Booty Band elements of deep grooves and smoking horns, with a smattering of special guests” according to a press release.
