Willie Nelson Announces New Album ‘First Rose Of Spring’ & Shares Title Track

Willie Nelson will release his 70th solo album, First Rose Of Spring, on July 3 via Sony Music Entertainment. The 86-year-old outlaw country legend shared a lyric video for the album’s title track.
Nelson again enlisted his longtime collaborator Buddy Cannon to produce the 11-track First Rose Of Spring. The new record presents two new songs co-written by Nelson and Cannon, “Blue Star” and “Love Just Laughed.” The album also features Nelson covering the likes of Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, Billy Joe Shaver, Pete Graves and others. Nelson’s son Micah Nelson created the album’s artwork.
