Willie Nelson Performs ‘My Favorite Picture Of You’ On ‘Fallon’

Outlaw country legend Willie Nelson was among the guests on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Nelson performed a song from his forthcoming album and sat for an interview.

Willie’s chat with Jimmy focused on Nelson’s love and passion for marijuana. The Red Headed Stranger explained how marijuana saved his life as he stopped smoking cigarettes and drinking heavily when he started consuming cannabis. Willie gifted Jimmy product from his Willie’s Reserve line of marijuana and Fallon joked that the pot saved his life. Nelson went on to discuss his new album, Ride Me Back Home.

Nelson was backed by members of his band for “My Favorite Picture Of You” from Ride Me Back Home. Guy Clark wrote “My Picture Of You,” which Willie noted is “kind of infectious. You want to hear it and then hear it again, or at least I do.” The 11-track Ride Me Back Home is due out this Friday via Legacy Recordings.
