Widespread Panic‘s YouTube channel has come alive in 2021 with pro-shot videos from a February 2011 in Athens celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary and a three-night stand at Oakland’s Fox Theater from 2010. The two latest clips feature “You’ll Be Fine” and “Coconut” from February 10, 2011 at Athens’ Classic Center.
“You’ll Be Fine” came within the opening frame of Panic’s first of two February 2011 concerts in Athens. Drummer Todd Nance, who sadly died in 2020, handled vocals on the ‘Til The Medicine Takes track. Widespread Panic was joined by vocalist Anne Richmond Boston and John Keane on pedal steel for “You’ll Be Fine” in Athens.

“Coconut” is one of the earliest Widespread Panic originals and actually pre-dates the band’s first performance under the moniker. The song was in heavy rotation through 1990 at which point WSP played “Coconut” much less frequently. The version in Athens from February 10, 2011 was the penultimate song of the evening’s second set.
