Watch Widespread Panic’s ‘Henry Parsons Died’ From 25th Anniversary Run In 2011
The latest pro-shot video shared by Widespread Panic on YouTube features a blistering rendition of “Henry Parsons Died.” Panic’s take on “Henry Parsons Died” comes from February 11, 2011 — the second night of a run celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary.
WSP kicked off the run with a pair of shows at the Classic Center in their hometown of Athens on February 10 and 11, 2011. The sextet then ended the brief jaunt at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on February 14, 2011.
“Henry Parsons Died” was co-authored by Daniel Hutchens and Eric Carter of Bloodkin. Widespread Panic debuted their version live on October 25, 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as per Everyday Companion. The band recorded a studio version of “Henry Parsons Died” for their 1993 studio album, Everyday.
