Widespread Panic Confirms June 2025 Chicago Run & Shares Rehearsal Footage
The band’s first shows at the Chicago Theatre since 2021 are slated for June 4 – 6, 2025.

Widespread Panic are gearing up to return to the stage after a lengthy layoff while guitarist Jimmy Herring was treated for tonsil cancer. The band has been adding 2025 dates steadily with the latest a three-night stand in Chicago.
The sextet will perform at the Chicago Theatre on June 4, 5 and 6. Widespread Panic was supposed to play the Windy City venue in 2024. However, the shows were initially postponed due to health issues before the rescheduled dates were canceled with no explanation given.

Tickets for Widespread Panic’s three-night stand in Chicago go on sale Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. CT.
Widespread Panic has been on hiatus since last June. The band’s first dates back come at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey February 14 – 16.
On Friday, WSP posted footage from a recent rehearsal on Instagram. The clip was accompanied by audio of the studio version of “Little By Little.”
