Wednesday night Widespread Panic performed for a third time at their Panic En La Playa Seis destination event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Riviera Maya. Night three in Mexico got underway with a quadruple run of “G” tunes as WSP strung “Glory,” “Greta,” “Good People” and “Genesis” together to open the first set. Instrumental “B Of D” opened a second set that also saw frontman John Bell inject a “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)” rap into “Barstools & Dreamers.” The third night’s set two also featured “Shut Up And Drive,” “I’m Not A Lone,” “Papa’s Home” and covers of “Bowlegged Woman” and “North.” Panic paired “Imitation Leather Shoes” with “Protein Drink” for the Wednesday night encore.
