On Tuesday Widespread Panic held the second day and second performance of their Panic En La Playa Seis destination event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Riviera Maya. Night two in Mexico kicked off with longtime setlist staple “Love Tractor.” Later “Tall Boy” opened up into a jam that led to “Little Lilly” and “All Time Low.” The Fat Tuesday first set closed with ZZ Top’s “Waiting For The Bus” paired with their New Orleans-namechecking “Jesus Just Left Chicago.” Set two featured a “Tail Dragger” opener and a sequence fitting together “Christmas Katie” with “Let It Rock” and “Rock.” The second half also saw “One Kind Favor” incorporate elements of the Grateful Dead’s “The Other One” and “Fishwater” that included a drums breakdown and a take on NOLA legend Dr. John’s “I Walk On Guilded Splinters.”
