Warren Haynes To Sit-In With The Roots On ‘The Tonight Show’

As previously reported, John Scofield will sit-in with The Roots on Wednesday night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. It turns out the guitarist’s Sco-Mule partner, Warren Haynes, will fill the same role on Monday, October 5 when he visits the late night show to jam with Fallon’s house band.

Haynes is currently on the road with the Ashes & Dust Band. Download/stream a compilation of official live recordings from the tour, which visits The Fillmore in Detroit on Tuesday night.

Warren last played with The Roots on September 7, 2012 at a HeadCount benefit held at The Capitol Theatre. Bob Weir, Trey Anastasio, Grace Potter and Bobby Keys were among the evening’s other guests. Watch “Whipping Post” captured by Tachofan:
