Warren Haynes, John Medeski, George Porter Jr. & Joe Russo Announce Benefit Concert At The Capitol Theatre

Guitarist Warren Haynes, keyboardist John Medeski, bassist George Porter Jr. and drummer Joe Russo will combine forces at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on October 19. The quartet last played together for a special “One Night Only” benefit concert last October and will do so again for a benefit concert dubbed “One Night Only…Again!” Proceeds from the concert will benefit DEBRA of America.

DEBRA Of America aims to raise awareness of the rare painful genetic disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa, commonly known as EB. “Warren Haynes has always been one of my favorite guitar players and when he put together this incredible group of musicians, I became very excited,” said DEBRA of America executive director Brett Kopelan when last year’s concert was announced. “I knew that with Warren’s help, we would be able to make a lot of people aware of this horrible disease and that is what enables us to push the needle forward on the science to an eventual treatment and a cure.”
