Watch Punk Outfit Militarie Gun Make ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ Debut

The band dipped from their latest studio album God Save The Gun and more.

Militarie Gun loaded up on a Tiny Desk Concert. The Los Angeles-born punk rock outfit delivered songs from their latest studio album God Save The Gun and more for the NPR Music series.

Militarie Gun is frontman Ian Shelton, guitarists Will Acuña and Kevin Kiley, bassist Waylon Trim, drummer David Stalsworth, percussionist Joey Mullen and keyboardist Sean Harvey. The seven-piece launched their Tiny Desk with God Save The Gun cut “B A D I D E A.”

The band also performed “God Owes Me Money,” “Throw Me Away” and “Thought You Were Waving” off God Save The Gun. Additionally, Militarie Gun took it back to their 2021 record, All Roads Lead To The Gun, with “Don’t Pick Up The Phone.” The session came to a close with “Do It Faster” from 2023’s Life Under The Gun.
