Last night Warren Haynes brought the Ashes & Dust Tour to Stage AE in Pittsburgh for a show featuring his Ashes & Dust Band (Jeff Sipe and ChessBoxer). Haynes debuted the Ashes & Dust version of a Radiohead cover and also was joined the opening act for a portion of the encore.
Warren and the band kicked off the show with a cover of Neil Young’s “Revolution Blues” and his tribute to Jerry Garcia, “Patchwork Quilt.” Later in the night Haynes and the Ashes & Dust Band offered the tour debut of a cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” including a jam on “Paranoid Android” in the middle. Opener Chris Stapleton emerged with Warren at the start of the encore for Guy Clark’s “Desperados Waiting For A Train.”
The tour continues tonight at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York
