Vulfpeck Covers ‘I Wish’ With Antwaun Stanley At Brooklyn Bowl

On November 21 Ann Arbor-based funk act Vulfpeck made their New York City debut with the first of two shows at Brooklyn Bowl. The band brought their first-ever set in the Big Apple to a close with a singalong cover of Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish” featuring contributions from vocalist Antwaun Stanley. Videographer LazyLightning55 captured footage of the wild cover which contains elements of “It Gets Funkier”:

So far Vulfpeck has three confirmed 2016 performances on the books. The group will appear in St. Augustine, Florida as part of Fool’s Paradise on April 1. Later in the year Vulfpeck will make their Bonnaroo debut and play a set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on July 22 to support Medeski, Martin and Wood and The Motet.
