Vulfpeck Announces Upcoming Release Of New Album ‘The Beautiful Game’

On October 17 up-and-coming funk act Vulfpeck will release their latest studio album, The Beautiful Game. The band announced the LP today and have shared pre-order details via a Kickstarter campaign.

Vulfpeck’s announcement includes a video teaser for The Beautiful Game, which includes a bevy of special guests. Past collaborators who appear on the LP are Antwaun Stanley, Joey Dosik and Christine Hucal. The album also features contributions from Vulfpeck family newcomers Laura Mace, Bethanni Grecynski, Jamire Williams, Michael Winograd, Pegasus Warning, Adam Levy and Rich Hinman. Vulfpeck also mentions Corey Wong serves as “this album’s Billy Preston.”

Those pledging $10 or more will receive a hi-res download of The Beautiful Game the day it is released. If you pledge $25 or more, you’ll get a first pressing of 180g vinyl. For those pledging $100 or more, your name or organization will appear on the full album video when it’s posted to YouTube. Head here for more information or to make your pledge.
