Videos: Gov’t Mule Welcomes Eric McFadden For ‘Whipping Post’ & ‘Dreams’ At High Sierra

A very special weekend at the High Sierra Music Festival concluded (at least the main stage action) with a set from Gov’t Mule. Gov’t Mule brought out a musician who is no stranger to High Sierra, guitarist Eric McFadden, out for two Allman Brothers Band covers to end their set on Sunday at the Quincy, California festival. Stellar video of both “Dreams” and “Whipping Post” have surfaced and can be viewed below.

Eric McFadden is currently the other lead guitarist in Anders Osborne’s touring band. McFadden was on hand at High Sierra to participate in a few Playshops including “Punk Vs. Funk (Of The ’70s Kind).” The guitarist had previously played at a number of High Sierras, among them a role as Artist-At-Large at last year’s festival. Of all the guests Warren could’ve picked to sit-in, it says a lot that he went with McFadden. Eric didn’t let Mule down as he shined on “Dreams” and “Whipping Post.”
