The Avett Brothers recently honored The Cranberries vocalist Dolores O’Riordan twice during their three-night stand in Louisville. The band covered both “Dreaming My Dreams” and “Linger” at the Louisville Palace Theatre, and footage of rehearsal of the latter tribute has been shared by the band’s photographer/archivist crackerfarm.

Guitarist Seth Avett, cellist Joe Kwon and violinist Tania Elizabeth can be seen in the newly posted backstage rehearsal session. Seth and Tania share vocals as they prepare an arrangement of “Linger,” a hit for The Cranberries from their 1993 album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?.
